We are an outdoor activities company located in Mid Wales, Talgarth, at the foothills of the Black Mountains and in the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. The Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains ranges offer unique outdoor activities opportunities.

From our central location in the Brecon Beacons National Park we provide a service throughout Wales. From Angelsey and Snowdonia National Park in the north, to the Gower and Pembrokeshire in the south. Our passion is the outdoors, we aim to provide you with the ultimate adventure experience in the heart of Wales.

company history

Adventure Cycling Wales was established in 2008 by brothers Ben and Oli in the Brecon Beacons. The idea for the business was inspired by our completion of a cycle touring expedition from coast to coast in the USA, with two friends, Jimbo and Brian. We were self supported and raised money for sustainable charities in Africa and the UK (TreeAID).

The journey was roughly 4000 miles from New York to San Francisco, through the centre of the USA, crossing the Rockies at Wolf Creek Pass in Colorado and reaching the Pacific Ocean at Half Moon Bay, north of Los Angeles. Some photos of our journey are below.
