‘Life
is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving’
Albert EinsteinWe also provide a service for cyclists who would prefer a ‘less mucky’ cycling experience.
There are many combinations of cycle loops which can take you off busy main roads and through the quieter country lanes of Mid-Wales. Routes lead on to the foothill roads of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons and then drop down into the towns of Hay-on-Wye, on the English border, Brecon and Crickhowell. Typical circuits can range from 15 – 30 miles and can be suited to ability and fitness levels.
The canal network in Brecon and the converted disused railway paths along the River Wye Valley near Hay-on-Wye are ideal for families and/or those who wish to have traffic free ambles in pristine nature areas. Routes can be organised to pass by local pubs for food and drink, or we can provide packed lunches.
